Steeve Cyr

You did an amazing job with the Caps MA, I think you and Mike (Philly) will fight for the title of GM of the year.

Capitals Quiet at the Deadline

Jeannot St-Pierre Washington did an excellent job and also Philly and Wild. Both teams standing tall in their division. I guess I'll pass my 2013-2014 title of GM of the Year to a new team this year!!!

Jani Mäkäräinen Thanks guys! Theres plenty of good candidates for GM of the year!!

Steeve Cyr Absolutely, some teams didn't need a big turn over, just so fine tuning, several GMs have done just that like Sal, Andrew, Michael, Terry and Mike. Some worked toward a rebuild.

Steeve Cyr ... and Paul worked really hard but his Sabres didn't respond really well ;-)

Mathieu Leger Paul is going through what I went through last season. no matter what can be done, it just didn't work for that year, that's why I tooled my team for this season and it has paid off being a top 6 team after a slow season's start.

Paolo Clara thanks steeve, my vote will be for Mike (philly) they had the BIGGEST turn around, so he deserves the GM of the year, not saying no one else does but considering where his team was before he came into the league, great job Mike :)

Paolo Clara Mike moved from 5th last to 7th best, thats a 19 spot improvment, where i moved from 15th overall to 2nd over all, well 1st for 85% of the season, dang steeve crept up ;p and for me thats only a 15 spot improvment

Jeremy H Yeah, the Sabres have been inconsistent pretty much all season except maybe at the beginning of the year.

Jeremy H The Atlantic and Metropolitan divisons are crazy competitive so I guess some good teams will me the playoffs every year. This year was my turn.

Mathieu Leger Ranking GM of the year is honestly a joke. i went from 18th overall and missing the playoffs last year to 5th overall this year. big deal. The only thing that matters is winning the cup. and until a team does that, then it doesn't really matter what

Mathieu Leger they do iin my opinion.

Jeremy H My vote usually to a GM who has made great trades to improve his team for the year (will be the case this year)

Jeremy H or if there is not really a winner in that category, I go with a GM who was really active during the year (aka Jeannot last year).

Jeremy H and I agree with Andrew about ranking improvement. It is not something I look at for GM of the year. The Sim factor has too much influence on that.

Marc-Andre Billette I'll take both a Cup and GM of the Year. Thank you very much HEHE.

Jeannot St-Pierre People People , stop fighting!!!!! Easy fix for this issue. Just vote GM St-Pierre again......you guys did it last year and we were all happy. Do it again this year and no headaches wondering...who....why....should I and all these quesstions
