Wild Streak to the Finals!!!

2015-05-19

After being Hired more then 2 years ago, Wild GM Mckenzie has Finally reached the Stanley Cup FInals. The Wild Ownership had alot of confidence when they brought GM Mckenzie in. After being elimanted in 7 games by The Dallas Stars, then following year having higher expectations and falling short in the 2nd round to Anaheim in 7 games GM Mckenzie saw potential stanley cup champions in his core.

This past off season making some changes and before the trade deadline but keeping the core intact has payed off this year for GM Mckenzie as his Wild swept the Calgary Flames 4-0.

"We may have swept Calgary, but they have a strong team and really brought it to my goalie the first 3 games and reaqlly making us work to get our goals, same goes for St. Louis and Vancouver"

"Our road has not been easy and our guys are fighting hard and we are watching and getting ready to face either Detroit or Philly"

GM Mckenzie stated weither its Steeve and the Reigning Stanley Cup Champs, Detroit Redwings or Mike and the surging Philadelphia Flyers. He knows its going to be a tough series as both teams are Powerhouses and favored to win.

"Up until this point we have been the favorites to win, so it will be different coming in as the underdogs, but that is not bothering us at all, as coming into this season we were not favorites to win, We will work hard reguardless who wins" Captain Shea Weber states.

"Detroit are not the Champs for no reason, they battled hard last year and won, and have been in the finals 3 years in a row,and still a tough team this year" Pominville says

"we just have to play our game like we have been all year and work hard and never give up and battle hard every shift" Cammy states

The Wild have taken a big blow with the wear and tear of the playoffs by losing Francois Beauchemin for the rest of the playoffs to a Straind Left Ankle.

"Ya its a tough loss for us as he is part of our defense anchor and was a big part of both out PK and PP systems, but Pardy has stepped up for us in times and we have full confidence in him" Parleau says.

Either way The Wild have a tough Battle ahead of them, but get some much deserved rest before thier big Battle.
