My Playoff Predictions :)

i thought i do one for fun, just the outcomes tho as steeve and paul did amazing in depth predictions that i cant top :)

-Round 1-

Western Confrence:

Calgary vs San Jose - SJ in 7

Sharks got more depth, but calgary got better Goaltending, so this one could go either way

Chicago vs St. Louis - STL in 6

Stl has better overall team but chicago played very well this season, should be a great series

Colorado vs Anaheim - Ana in 5

Anaheim has a solid playoff team, not to take away from Col they have some key players who if they step up should give Mathieu a run for his money, Anaheim has solid goaltending and if Colorado wants to win they need to focus on Defence and getting in Rask's Head

Minnesota vs Vancouver - Min in 6

now im not picking my team because its my team, i feel tho as my team is stronger in all categories but vancouver is coming in as a hot team and they do have some scorers who i need to shut down, i dont think it will be an easy series and John took me to 7 games last year so it will be interesting to see how his team plays this year :) good job on the playoff run John :)

Eastern Confrence:

Columbus vs Detroit - Det in 6

Detroit has the best team and record in the league, tho they were not 1st overall for most the season, they have been the most consistant and strong all year round thus beating me out at the end for the presidents trophy, congrads to them, i do feel as detroit is solid in everything but cant count Clb out as they have a team that can definitly beat Steeve 1 or 2 games

Tampa Bay vs Philadelphia - Philly in 7

now Mike has made this team a solid Cup contender since taking over and has definitly made his mark and will be getting my vote for GM of the year (sorry Jeannot) but dont count TB out as they have been a surprise this year playing thier hearts oput and making the playoffs after going through a bit of a rebuild so i think they will surprise us again and take Philly to the Brink :) this will definitly be a great series, congrads to both GM's

Toronto vs Boston - Bos in 7

now this was the hardest decision i had to make in predictions as both teams are very good, Tor has strong solid Defence and Goaltending and Boston has Solid Strong Scoring Depth, i think every game will be close and this will be the best series in the 1st round by far and will be interesting to see the outcome, i gave a slight edge to Bos as thier scoring depth. New York Rangers vs Washington - NYR in 7

This should be a very close and great series aswell, i gave it to the Rangers because their depth deeper then washington but not to take away from Marc, he's stronger in Net Prescence and Price will hold his own, another hard one to pick but im going with YR in a close and tough battle
