Sabres are giving up on the season

With only about 20 games left to the regular season, the Sabres are currently fighthing with Tampa, Toronto, Pittsburgh, NYRangers, NYIslanders and Columbus for the remaining 4 playoff spots.

It has been a rollercoster year for the Sabres for sure.  The team has been playing well for some periods at the beginning of the season but is not doing so good lately with only 5 wins in the last 20 games.  GM Blanchard met with coach Therrien this morning and let him know that he would be looking to move some guys prior to the deadline.

The Sabres are not in rebuild mode so those guys will only be moved if the right deals come along.

Other guys might also be available but the Sabres are not actively looking to move them.
