Get ready for the Preseason

August is over, the slowest Month of the year...

We now expect you to be back at 100% and answer all messages within 48 hours, please report GMs who are not responding to their messages.


First, just a heads up for the new comers who are not familiar with the portal, you can edit your players in your depth chart (positions, picture, #) yourself, go to your depth chart, click the player, Click the EDIT Player button, change what you have to change and click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: position can be changed to whatever you want, this will only change the player's position on your depth chart, it won't change where the player is really allowed to play in the Sim.  Player is only allowed to play at the position written under his name on his profile



If a player is listed at a different position on at least one of the following web sites, you can email the league and request that we add that position to his profile (include direct link where it shows the position)

Pre Season starts September 12th, 14 games in the NHL, 10 in the AHL.

Regular season start Oct. 7th

You need complete roster ready by September 12th, NHL and AHL, that means enough RW, LW, C, D and Goaltenders for both teams, PLAYERS RATED LESS THAN 30 CAN ONLY BE USED AS SPARES WHEN YOU HAVE INJURIES.  When you don't have enough players, it blocks the SIM and we can't Sim, we have to add player(s) to your roster for that day and your team will be fined.

All players (on your roster or in the UFA list) rated less than 30 and who have played in the AHL last year can get a new rating, just do your research and request a new rate for them.


You have to comply to salary cap/floor by the first game of the regular season (Oct 7th).

You can start asking players to waive a no trade clause on Oct 7th as well.

To fix the bug where we can't see the stats of a players with his first team when he got traded, we have to delete the contract extensions right after they show up on the portal, they will be entered in the Sim right away, No trade clauses and Signature bonuses will show up on Simm.fra.co, keep an eye on that.

All coaches with expired contract received a one year extension, $1 M in the NHL and in the AHL, coaches received the same salary they had last year, this will give Matt more time to figure out the problem with coaches contract extensions.

Ask your questions NOW, don't wait!  Please Review the league rules it's been updated, saying you didn't know when it's in the rules is NOT a valid excuse.
