Boston Standing Strong

GM Andrew Arcesi of the Boston Bruins held a press conference today to address the media and the fans with his plans for the team coming into the trade dealine weekend.  GM Arcesi stated that the Bruins will stand strong with their current roster and will NOT be making any last minute acquisitions as Arcesi feels his team is deep enough to make a lengthy playoff run once they are able to clinch a berth in the playoffs.  He went on to state that he felt this was the best roster that they have iced since this league began and has confidence in their play.  Whether they get knocked out in the first round or make it to the finals, one thing can be sure...whoever faces the Bruins will always get a competitive team to give them a run for their money.

He went on to say that he has had plenty of interest in his young group of players (Toffoli, Kucherov, Stone, etc.), and that they are not going anywhere.  Those kids will play a much more prominent role next season and the seasons beyond.  But for the comingtrade deadline, Boston will be unusually quiet and expect to make absolutely no noise in the trade department.
