THERE'S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN

2014-01-27

LOS ANGELES - The LA Kings ownership group have hired George MacIntyre as the teams new Vice President of Hockey Operations.

MacIntyre is a veteran of several STHS, FHL, and HLS leagues but is yet to win the BIG ONE.

"I was approached this week, I did some sniffing around.  Looked at the roster, assets, and futures and decided to accept the ownersips offer to take this over."

When asked what direction this team is headed, MacIntyre offered this....

"Well first things first, we need to do some evualating.  Players, Coaches, Prospects.....they all have 29 games left in this season to audition for roles on next years teams.  There are several pending UFA's that I plan on addressing asap, after that we will look at who's staying, and who's going.  I hold no punches.  No playoffs last year, not looking like playoffs this year.  Unacceptable is the one word I will use.  We are in the business of building WINNERS, and right now this is not one.  PERIOD."

MacIntyre can be reached via the league portal for any questions or proposals.
