Reimer Arrives In Dallas

Newly aquired G James Reimer was all business on Tuesday morning when he arrived at the American Airlines Center for his first practice as a Star.

"Obviously I want to be the number one guy. What goalie strives towards being a backup? I'll do whatever it takes to help this hockey club win some games when I am called upon. I think Pekka and I will really push each other." Reimer told the media.

When we caught up with GM Kevin Rockett, he had this to say.

"Making the decision to give up a 1st round pick was not something I took lightly. After extensixe talks with Canucks GM Hondronikolis, we came to a deal we both thought would benefit our clubs.

Also coming over in the deal with Reimer is prospect Mackenzie MacEachern. He has talled 3 goals in 8 games this season while playing for the Michigan State Spartans.
