Stars/Jets Preview

Season series: This is the first meeting since March 14, 2012, which was won by the Winnipeg Jets 2-1. The teams, which have played only that game since the Jets moved back to Winnipeg, meet five times this season as Western Conference opponents.

Big story: The Dallas Stars had five days off in between games and are starting a three-game road trip. After playing twice in the first eight days, they play six times in the next 10.

"When you're with each other (on the road) for six days straight, you either learn to like each other or dislike each other," forward Mike Fisher  told Inside Edge on the Stars website. "It's an opportunity to get out early on the road for a fairly long trip to determine whether we really like each other or not."

Winnipeg lost at the Minnesota Wild 6-2 on Thursday.
