Colin Wilson expected to play big minutes

Colin Wilson is loaded with potential, He was drafted in the first round of 2008 nhl entry draft. He has taken some time to develop but he has lots of swagger and his attitude is very maturing at his age. The young 24 year old American will play big minutes this season with the Canucks. He can play C or LW and coach Kevin Dineen has him sloted to start at Left Wing playing on the top line with Tanguay and Elias. He will get lots of time on the Power Play and if he produces the Canucks will have a threat in every game this year. The Canucks want him to contribute on offense... They hope he can score 20 plus goals. The key for him is to be healthy all year and not fizzle out.

Wilson had a tough year in Columbus last season and the Canucks needed a forward so they traded for the 6'1 ... 216lb forward. Colin Wilson worked extremly hard in the off season getting into shape... he showed some promise in the pre-season collecting 7 points in 8 games. Hopefully this was a trade the fans will be happy about. Time will tell if he will be a fan favourite.
