UPDATE - Please READ!

2013-09-26

Hey

Easy Money for Updating depth chart ($1.5M)... you have  until September 30th.
Done already; Dallas, Philadelphia, Edmonton, St. Louis, NY Rangers, Buffalo, Columbus, Detroit, Nashville, Winnipeg, Phoenix, Montreal, Tampa Bay, Minnesota, Colorado, Vancouver, Boston, Ottawa, San Jose, Anaheim
and Toronto.

Pre season is almost over, Regular season starts October 1st, following real NHL schedule.  You still have time to test your lines combinations!  You have to respect min and max salary cap during the regular season. Min 44$ M, Max 64.3$M.  You can see your cap hit by going to FINANCES, BALANCE SHEET, TOTAL PAYROLL (Bottom right).

Make sure you have enough players for all positions NHL and AHL, injuries, exhaustions, you'll need extra players.  You can't have more than 25 players in the NHL and 35 in the AHL. So in you only want to keep for example 20 players on your NHL roster, than the maximum allowed overall would be 55.

Players 27yo and over have to go through waivers if you want to send them to the minors after 10 games in the regular season.

Watch the utilization of your key players, we have a lot of players out for exhaustion during this pre season, if you have your best players playing 40% of the time, + PK + PP, well they won't last long.

Reminder:  Jets' GM is out for a few weeks for personal reasons.  Hawks' GM was replaced, he was here every single day and suddenly he went MIA last month, Gordon will replace him.  We have no intention to replace the Preds' GM for now as we think we will have to hire 4-5 different GMs to finally get one who will have the patience to rebuild this team who was completely destroyed.  I think the Preds are on the right track tho, but it's gonna be a long process.  As mentioned before, contact me if you want to propose a trade to the Preds, Detroit and Buffalo won't trade with the Preds for obvious reasons.

Financial page will be update on the forum (simm.fra.co) just before the regular season begins.

-Regular season: submit roster/line up at least once a week (between Sunday 7 PM ET and the
next one): $ 300k (season’s potential: $8.1 M).
-Submit in time team’s awards at the end of the season: $500k
-Vote for the All Star game: $1 M.
-Vote for the league’s awards at the end of the season - $1.5 M.
-Submitting an article on the portal (French or English): $400k. Real article, 2-3 lines won’t
make it ;-). The league pays a maximum of 2 articles per month, up to a maximum of 7 for the
year.

If you don't participate and you go bankrupt, you're out plain and simple. If you're an active GM we'll figure something out.

Reminder: answer back all messages within 48 hours, even to reply a simple 'no'.  Guys if you are not reporting GMs who are not responding, we have no way to figure this out.

Again, i probably forgot something.... but that's it for now!

have a good season guys!
