FACEOFF!!

The Vancouver Canucks got some much needed help in goal by acquiring James Reimer and Iyla Bryzgalov in the off-season. The Canucks struggled last season and made alot of moves in the summer and wanted to go into training camp with two capable no. 1 goalies. Everyone is asking who will be the starter? Canucks management has kept it quite what their plan is. They haven't said much other than they will evaluate the situation after the pre season is over. Sources have said that Bryzgalov is gonna jump ship at the end of the season and head overseas but wants to prove his last year in the NHL is a good one. He has one year left on his contract and isn't looking to resign anywhere. Some speculation had the Canucks trade Reimer for a forward.

Bryzgalov and Reimer want to play 50 plus games this season, It doesnt make sense to have two goalies that combine for 10+ million towards the cap. Both goalies will get their turn to show what they are capable of in these next few preseason games.

By next week we should have an idea what the Canucks will likely do, for now we just have to guess.
