Busy summer in Canuckville!!

The Vancouver Canucks have been extremely busy this off season making 20 plus trades. After not making the playoffs last season, GM John decided to move the likes of Gaborik and Thornton and brought in players like Oshie, Elias, Ryder, Riemer, Gonchar, Tanguay and the list goes on. The managment team wanted to bring vetran leadership who have won the cup before. Canuck Nation is excited about this year's club, they also have high expectations for this team to make to the playoffs and compete.

In the upcoming weeks we have the draft to also look forward to. The Canucks dont have a 1st round pick but have the 37th overall pick and could deal it along with a player to move up in the draft. Future Star Goalie Lehner could also be dealt at the draft, a lot of teams have shown interest in Lehner and could be the topic of discussion at draft day.

Canucks will also name their captain in the upcoming weeks. rumour has its between Oshie and Elias.

2013-2014 season will be an exciting one with more trades to come... its sure will be one hell of a ride.
