Paul Maclean named Oilers head coach

The Edmonton Oilers announced the signing of Paul Maclean as the clubs 2nd NHL head coach on Friday Morning.

" We are VERY excited to have Paul as our head coach" Stated a happy GM Lozinski

" Paul brings alot of passion, experience and heart to our club. Him being a Jack Adams award winner speaks to itself about his skill set"

" This club will be making the playoffs this season, im excited for a chance to raise the cup" Stated Maclean

" The Oilers will be a tough team to play against, our players will finish ALL their hits and play good defense. Teams are going to be scared to play the Oilers"
 

GM Lozinski has yet to find an AHL coach

" We extended a couple offers to multiple guys, but they chose to coach elsewhere. Im confident we will find someone soon" explained Lozinski
