Reimer Stays in Van City!!!

The Vancouver Canucks found out today that San Jose broke all rules within the GM community and made an offer sheet to a Restricted Free Agent.

They tried to solidify their goaltending position with some young talent in James Reimer signing him to 3 years at 4.3 million a season.

The Canucks wanted to think about this one because the compensation was so tempting. The Canucks had a choice at recieving a 1st and 3rd rounder which would add to the teams future.. or they could match.

After hours of meetings GM John announced to the media that he will be matching the offer and the Sharks could kiss his BUTT!!! J/K
