Oilers and Malkin agree to long term extension

GM Lozinski didnt waste any time Sunday evening, signing team captain Evgeni Malkin to a 4 year contract extension, averaging 5.7 million a year.

GM Lozinski also pulled off another trade to finish off the evening, acquiring power forward Chris Stewart, and highly touted prospect Austin Watson, a former 18th overall draft pick in 2010 in exchange for the 28th overall pick, Ryan Johansen and 2 prospects.
