Malkin Deal Falls through

The deal that saw Superstar forward Evfeni Malkin traded tot he ottawa senators has fallen through. The original deal was not accepted by he league as it put the edmonton Oilers roster over by 1 player.

" We told the league that we would buy out 2 players, which we did. The original offer was posted back up but ottawa has not responded. COUNTLESS emails and attempts have been made to contact the ottawa GM over the past couple of days, but he has not responded to us. This signifies to me that he does not want any part of this deal. That is fine with me, history has shown that trading star players like Malkin almost never favor the team trading the star away. At the end of the day, we end up keeping one of the best players in the game. We feel that we are only a couple seasons away from being a contender again, so keeping Malkin wont hurt me at all!"

GM Lozinski made the most anticipated move of the season Friday afternoon, trading one of the best players in the game.

Evgeni Malkin was trade to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for a plethaura of young talent. The Edmonton Oilers received the following players.

Calvin De-Hann- The 12th overall pick of the 2009 entry draft

Ben Scrivens- Current starting netminde rof the Toronto Maple leafs

Matt Puempel- 24th overall pick of the 2011 entry draft

Mika Zibanajed- The 6th overall pick of the 2011 entry draft

Peter Holland- The 15th overall pick of the 2009 entry draft

Slater Koekokok- The 10th overall pick of the 2012 entry draft

Detroits 1st round pick in this years draft

and New York islander Power forward Kyle Okoposo.
