Dallas Goes "All In"

The call came late Monday afternoon. One that not to many people were expecting. The Dallas Stars, had just bolstered their blueline.by picking up 27 year old defenceman Braydon Coburn from the Edmonton Oilers. 

"Our time is now" stated Stars GM Kevin Rockett. "We are ready to make a serious run at a Stanley Cup, and are thrilled to add a guy like Braydon"

Talks between the two teams had broken off a couple of weeks ago, but there was still interest from both sides to get a deal done.

"We gave up a lot of futures to make this trade, but it had to be done to get what we wanted. He can help us win now"

With the addition of Coburn, veteran Shane O'Brien looks to be the odd man out, and it remains to be seen whether a deal in imminent
