Bruins Form The Legion Of Doom

The Boston Bruins have announced the signing of unrestricted free agents Bracken Kearns and Travis Turnbull.  The Bruins also annouced that they have recalled Tom Sestito from the Providence Bruins.  Sestito being the bigger of the three forwards weighing in at 228 pounds and measuring 6'5 is most notably the biggest Bruin on the roster.  Both other players are 6'0 and around 190 pounds, but the thing about all three of these players is that they are not known for their hockey sense, but moreso known for their fighting ability.

GM Arcesi announced that he wanted to have some toughness in the lineup to stick up for their stars so that they weren't bounced around all night long each and every game.  Gretzky had McSorley, Yzerman had Probert...well, now Giroux, Datsyuk, Spezza, Parise and the other all stars will have their modern day Hanson Brothers Line.  The newly formed line will see its first action tonight against division rivals, Montreal Canadiens, in front of a home ice crowd at TD Northbank Garden in Boston.

In the last two years, the three have fought for a total of 74 times in their NHL and AHL games...20 times for Kearns, 14 times for Turnbull and a whopping 40 times for Sestito.  Arcesi also stated that all three of these players know their role with the club and understand what they are on the team for.  Fans in Boston should be elated to see the new line...rightfully so being called...LOD...The Legion of DOOM!
