"  For a short period of time, I thought the crowd was chanting GOmez!!!....but after celebrating some more on the ice with my buddies, they were actually chanting NEILER!!, NEILER!!!, NEILER!!!!!"  said Chris Neil with his million dollar smile to TSN this morning.

Tampa Bay got the win vs the Caps the other night, and Neil is still partying since.

" My team was asking me in the locker room if I could score more than Gomez did last year.. I told them, I'm only worth two million dollar guys, but I guess it's time to get the ** Goal Meter ** started"

Scott Gomez ended up scoring only two goals and nine assists with his team last season.
