A few days before the pre-season start, GM St-Pierre, Coach Carlyle and his staff will be holding tonight a "practice/scrimmage" for their rookies to prove they belong to the Admirals Norfolk lineup this season. 

St-Pierre didn't really go soft on his rookies, having on one side of the ice, mentoring them will be Trevor Gillies, and on the other end Chris Neil.

" With the amount of talent we have on the roster this year, every positions will be earned by showing up 100% at each practices and games" says Coach Carlyle. 

John Lu interviewed Gillies and Neil on what the rookies will be facing tonight on the ice.

" If they think, for one minute, they will have a good time, they might just stay home tonight.  I want a team with perseverance, and intergrity.  And if they can't show us that, they will have me in their rearview mirror" says Gillies.  

When John Lu asked Neil his thoughts, he didn't say much, but had these two words for the rookies. " BOOT CAMP!!!"

If you look at the Syracuse Crunch, they didn't make much changes to their roster, and will be ready to defend their title.  And with tonight Boot Camp, we will be a contender. That is a promise!!    Gm St-Pierre told TSN Analyst John Lu.
