Captain - Top Three Finalists !!!

Pretty big day in Tampa after the fans voted on who they would like to see wearing the "C" for their team.  Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Ed Jovanovski took the top three spots on the list. 

Bob McKenzie was on Twitter this morning talking about the top three finalists.

" Thornton got his chances in the past, and couldn't bring his team to the cup....but Thornton is still a dominant force on this ice.  His passing skills and his size are big factors and will bring the youngsters to their top level as always"

" Marleau has been a captain before, but he prefer playing hockey than coaching youngsters.  With six out of seven seasons of 30 or more goals, his role should be focusing on scoring"

" Ed Jovanovski has been in the NHL for many years, and being the assistant for a few years he should be the asset for Tampa Bay new captain.  Experience and Leadership equal Jovanovski"

GM St-Pierre thought it should be a great idea to involve the fans, and would like to hear from other GM's on their thoughts on who should he pick to be the leader of the 2012-2013 season.
