Bruins Make Another Major Move

The Boston Bruins have made another trade today and have acquired Sniper Jeff Carter and defenseman Jack Hillen in exchange for newly acquired defenseman Doug Murray, free agent acquistion Matt MacKenzie and team captain Teemu Selanne.

GM Arcesi said that it was hard to trade away Selanne and Murray, but this trade was strictly made for salary cap reasons and when they had the opportunity to acquire Carter, it was a no brainer to make a deal worth while.

The Bruins would like to wish Selanne and Murray much success in Vancouver.
