Pacioretty and Desharnais are reunited again!

Rangers GM annonced this morning that the team did the aquisition of wingers Max Pacioretty and Matt D'Agostini from Phoenix in exchange of T.J. Oshie and Boyd Gordon.

«We got a lot of interest for Oshie and we wasn't really willing to trade him... and then we talked about the availability of Max Pacioretty with GM Brodsky from Phoenix and it's how everything started...

Max was exactly the kind of player we were looking for since last season and we are very happy to have him with our team now. We now have two power forwards on the LW in James and Max. Unfortunatly we had to let go an other very good player in this deal. I hope the best for Oshie and Gordon who did a terrific job with our team since last season.» -- Rangers GM   

When we talked to David Desharnais this morning, he said he was very excited by this trade and he can't wait to play with Max next season.
