Malkin gets his wish traded to oilers

Looks like Evgeni Malkin finally got his wish. After months of rumors the Caps have finally dealt the troubled superstar. Malkin has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons since he joined the Capitals and after another clash with head coach Kirk Muller and management GM Vaillancourt pulled the plug. The Caps will be receiving Ryan Getzlaf, former 2nd overall pick Ryan Murray, prospect Austin Watson, Robert Czanik, KHL'er Dmitry Kugryshev, Russian Andrei Lotkionov and toronto 2nd round pick. GM Vaillancourt had this to say:

Malkin was never really a great fit here in Washington. He had many clashes with management and players. I truly believe after this deal we will be a better team in the long run. Thanks for your time folks and have a good night!
